The University of Presov (UoP) offers the education in Slovak language and the majority of accredited study programmes is taught in Slovak language. In order to initiate internationalization of education at UoP, educational modules in foreign languages have been developed recently. Various educational programmes in English language have been designed and accredited at different faculties of the UoP. These programmes create an additional space for students from abroad. Internationalization requires targeted development of students’ and employees’ international mobility, improvement of study programmes and improvement of language and technological processing in order to prepare those students and employees for the international application. Partnerships development and capacity building are required as well. All mentioned dimensions of the internalization are intertwined. Mobility of students and employees creates a unique space for transfer of knowledge and competencies, which have subsequently impact on partnership and capacity building and on creation of well-designed study programmes (individual or joint ones). Over the last couple of years, UoP have sent abroad around 60 students annually. It is a relatively small figure considered the opportunities, but it’s comparable with other Slovak universities. Interest in students and graduates internships are considerably rising, since they help students to acquire practical experiences in their own fields. Mobilities of teachers and administrative employees are being used as well by UoP, while interest from these employees as well as number of countries involved grow. Internship-oriented mobilities are very important for UoP and interest in them grows too. 150 of such mobilities were conducted within this project. Implementation of the Erasmus+ project leads into the internalization of UoP, which in turn leads into the improvement and innovation of an educational processes and procedures. Erasmus+ also helps with transfer of knowledge, experiences and best practices. International dimension of the project comes from bilateral and multilateral cooperation of UoP and foreign institutions, mobilities support and marketing activities abroad.
