Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre applied funds for Erasmus student mobilities and staff mobilities. The student mobilities took place with the aim of studies as well as traineeships. The staff mobilities took place with the aim of Staff Training Assignments and Staff Mobility for Training. The EAMT fulfilled its objectives within all the different types of mobilities. There were all together 36 mobile students (26 SMS mobilities and 10 SMP mobilities) and 42 mobile members of staff (35 STA visits and 7 STT visits). EAMT has a very high number of partner institutions, which include the most important and prestigious music and theatre higher education institutions in the most important cities in Europe. Thanks to that, the impact of the mobilities has been very positive and wide. There have been numerous host countries, which has made it possible to enhance cooperation with many countries within Europe. The feedback of both the students and mobile stuff has been positive. Cooperation with the host institutions has become more intense and stronger and has also attracted many students and teaching staff to come for Erasmus mobilities to the EAMT. The mobilities have given the students valuable experience, enriching their knowledge on their field of studies as well as giving them a chance to get to know life in a culturally different environment. The staff mobilities have contributed into better professional skills for the participants, wider contact network and higher possibilities for future cooperation. Also, both the mobile students as well as teachers/staff, have represented the EAMT abroad, raising therewith peoples’ awareness of the academy as an institution. For the academy, the Erasmus project has definitely enhanced the cooperation with its’ partners in Europe and has strengthened the internationalization process on the institutional level as well as in the bigger picture on the field of music/theatre higher education in Europe.
