The main objective of the project was to develop the attitudes of mobility among students of WSB Wrocław, enriching the learning paths about international experience, thereby increasing the employability of students in the conditions of the single labor market.
Within the mobility of employees the aim was to learn new techniques and methods of teaching, strengthening management and organizational skills, enhance practical skills related to their work.
The aim of studding abroad was the acquisition of new skills by learning about the functioning and methodology of teaching at universities abroad, studying in foreign languages, developing social skills, raise language competences, intercultural management, making a new international contacts, the acquisition of skills to deal with difficult situations.
The aim of taking student placements was to practice the development of practical skills, developing attitudes of mobility in the labor market, breaking the schemes related to employee attitudes and behavior of future managers, to raise awareness about existing habits in international business and operation of foreign companies.
The aims of studding and taking placements and staff mobility have been achieved.
We can say that competence development among all participants in mobility was noticed. The phenomenon is evident among outgoing students where the percentage of people who reported an increase of competence often fluctuates at 90 percent.
The main competences obtained by the students are: shaping ideas and their implementation, finding solutions in difficult or challenging situations, realizing the validity of other cultures, enhancing adaptation to the new environment, self-confidence and belief in their own capabilities, openness and curiosity to new challenges, awareness of their weaknesses and strengths.
In total 63 participants benefited from this project of mobility. Among them there were 52 students and 11 employees. The women were the vast majority of participants in the project (among students only 9 men took part). The number of students going to study and practice were divided evenly - in both cases it was twenty-six people. When it comes to taking part in placements the majority chose Spain and Malta (eight people per each place). Among the mobility for studies it was a bit more variety, however, dominated by countries such as Germany, Spain, France, Hungary (in each case four students went to the country). With the mobility of employees eleven took part, including four teachers and seven administrative staff who have completed the training.
The program was attended by students of first and second degree of full time and part time studies (small group).
Among participants leaving most were those who studied tourism and recreation (9 people). The interest to go abroad was also popular among students of Management and Finance and Accounting (six students from each area). The smallest interest to take part in Erasmus + was among students of Logistics - only one person left.
Trainings for the administration lasted for 5 days. Administrative staff can look up closely to the structure of universities in the country, to initiate a meeting with representatives of various departments, present their university for hosting ones, to take part in workshops, casual conversation, which helped them to implement innovative ideas into the home university, it helped to improve the organization of work.
Teaching staff conducted classes also within the 5-days stays. Mobility led to gain experience in the teaching of international groups, get to know the methodology of teaching at foreign universities, establish contacts for future projects.
The project aims which we defined precisely met the needs of the promoter, beneficiaries and institutions involved in the project. In the case of students it was practical experience and increased professional qualifications, which will result in future with increased adaptability and mobility in the labor market. In the case of universities it is the adaptation of curricula and practical approach to be fully adapted to the realities in foreign companies, and finally the results of the project could be included for a wider group of students studying in WSB, and those who will study in the future. For project partners it will be the opportunity to use the knowledge to establish cooperation and build the appropriate human capital in their institutions.
The project largely alluded to prepare appropriate personnel in Poland to operate within the global labor market where it is very important to create a common socio - economic space society environment.
Implementation of this project will bring in the future, the effects of economic cooperation between enterprises in Polish and abroad.
