The ERASMUS + project financial assist students wanting to go abroad and better understand the first-hand challenges of other markets as well as support the internationalization at home project in which foreign students are able to come to IBS and learn about the problems facing the French market. IBS’s main object is to increase the student mobility. Through the strategic double degree partnerships, highly motivated students who envision themselves working abroad have the opportunity to both study and complete an internship within the European neighborhood. Other students who would like to work in France for an international company or who would like to become more aware about European or international arena, are encouraged to study abroad as an ERASMUS students. These students have the general to advanced understanding of English or another European language and typically are following one of the english major offered. Once completing the mobility students are more susceptible to problems facing other parts of European and the world and better understand how France can influence policy the European markets. Other activities within the ERASMUS + project include, professor mobility and staff mobility. In 2014, IBS organize an International Academic Seminar session in which 22 professors from around the world lectured on the IBS campus, many of them coming via the ERAMSUS + professor mobility grant. In turn, IBS professors were invited to teach at the partner institutions. Facilitating the synergies between professors and the research department has help IBS develop a database of potential guest lecturers. As IBS would like to mainstream a visiting professor module into the academic curriculum, this database and continuous dialogue with other teaching staff is relevant and beneficial. The impact of staff mobility has greatly benefited the IBS tripartite program. Inviting the co-founding partners to France and visiting them in German has allowed the two institutions to embrace in full the joint effort. During the staff mobility, the representative were able to meet with the academic advisors, planning office, career center and the national accreditation department. This mobility allowed us to mainstream the program into the heart of the school. IBS anticipates that in the future years, more students will want to join this innovative program.
