Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

International mobility, partnership, and cooperation were always important activities of Virovitica College and are aimed to achieve the following strategic goals: 1. Continuous improvement of the teaching process by improving the existing study programmes and introducing new ones, as well as providing the necessary resources. 2. Encouraging the development of professional and applied scientific activities and providing institutional support for teachers to develop their research careers 3. Establishing communication and creating partnerships with the private, public and the civic sector. 4. Establishing a proper organisational structure, that will be an integral part of the quality assurance system. That's why we decided to apply for the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education – ECHE. In our first ever Erasmus+ application, we requested 4 student mobilities for studies, 2 student mobilities for traineeships, 3 staff mobilities for teaching and 2 staff mobilities for training. Concidering the results (2 student mobilities for studies, 2 student mobilities for traineeships, 3 staff mobilities for teaching and 2 staff mobilities for training), we believe that we have achieved good results that are thought to be the product of our hard work in achieving determinated strategic goals. Based on the approved moblities and the given funds, we had 3 students participating in the student mobilities for studies, unfortunately no students participating in the student mobilities for trainsheeps, 3 teachers participating in the staff mobilities for teaching, and 1 member of our staff participating in the staff mobilities for training. We had a good and succesful cooperation with School of business and management Novo Mesto from Slovenia even before, so we continued the cooperation in the framework of the Erasmus+ programmme. Most of our participants (3 students, 2 teachers and a staff member) realized their mobilities in this HEI. Only 2 teachers went teaching on Technische Universität Braunschweig in Republic of Germany. We had excellent feedbacks from our outgoing students who spent a semester 2014/2015 in Novo Mesto in Slovenia upon their return, therefore we continued cooperation with that institution. Technische Universität Braunschweig is a specific institution, therefore we are planning to continue cooperation through some specific projects. As a young and relatively small institution, we believe that our participation in the Erasmus + project slightly opened the door of the participation in the international scene and aalso enable further cooperation with international partners, as we believe that it will prove to be a quality factor for further development of our institution.
