Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The IES RdL is a secondary training centre that offers General Education, Vocational Training and Adult Education. It has participated in European projects since 1996, the year it started its commitment to internationalization. Since then the centre has coordinated a number of student and teacher mobility projects; the development of projects for training materials, especially in technical areas, languages and diversity support tools, and the prevention of school drop-out. In the mobility projects the centre has sent both students and teachers to European countries and other countries outside the EU, including the US, China and India. All these mobility flows contribute to the centre´s extensive experience in managing such projects. The main objectives achieved through the realization of this project are: - Promote and encourage the use of ICT to expand the participants? possibilities. - Improve the knowledge areas related to the specific professional fields. - Expand the possibilities of accessing the labour market, moving from local / regional / national to European. - Improve participants? language skills; English in this case. - Contribute to the participants? intercultural competences. Participants on this project are a total of 12 adults, 11 of whom are students on the Higher Level Training Cycles of International Trade and Finance and Administration. Of these, 7 students received student grants and went to study in the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Transylvania in Brasov (Romania). During their three month stay the students attended the relevant courses in order to acquire a more global overview of the technical and specific knowledge relating to their studies; they also had the opportunity to acquire language skills. The 4 students who received Erasmus + grants for an internship abroad travelled to Malta, where they worked in various companies, acquiring skills related to their area of study, as well as language skills through the daily use of English. The main impact of IES RdL?s participation in this type of mobility programme is the improvement in the quality and relevance of higher education within the EU framework, and its needs. By running these projects, the centre?s students gain an overview of the labour market at European level and the possibilities for both European and international mobility.
