Lovisenberg diaconal university college (LDH) support internationalisation as an essential element of quality in higher educaton and research.
The international policy at LDH is integrating international and intercultural dimensions into teaching and research to improve the quality and relevance of higher education.
LDH have received support from Key action 1:- Learning Mobility for individuals and students, professors, teachers and other staff in the institution have got opportunities to undertake a learning and/or a professional experience in another country.
LDH focus on the way education is structured and organised at different levels and aims to contributing towards a better mutual understanding of systems in Europe.
The objectives for the students are to improve learning performance, increase self-empowerment and self-esteem, improve foreign language competences, intercultural awarness and participating in the society.
The objectives for the staff are to improve competences linked to their professional profiles, broader understanding of practices, policies and systems in education across countries, improved foreign language competences and increased motivation and satisfaction in their daily woork.
LDH had 3 participants in the mobilityprogram for students between programme countries, 4 staff in mobility for teaching between program countries and 3 staff in moblity for training between programme countries.
The students had both theoretical and practical training in Community health, the teachers had focus on different methods when teaching and guiding students in their program and the staff had different administrative settings as internationalization, application process, information and communication both on web, hard copy and homepage.
The results for the mobility was new ideas and new forms of cooperation
