Implementation of project KA103 Erasmus + Mobility with program countries carried out by Józef Rusiecki Olsztyn University College – Olsztyńska Szkoła Wyższa im. Józefa Rusieckiego(PL OLSZTYN07). Two-year-agreement 2014-1 PL01-KA103-000037 in the academic year 2014/15. Olsztyńska Szkoła Wyższa im. Józefa Rusieckiego is a non-statehigher education institution, which has participated in the Erasmus program since 2012. In the academic year 2012/13 the first four students were sent for a 3-month practical placement. From that moment the realization of the project Erasmus + KA103 mobility with program countries in Olsztyńska Szkoła Wyższa im. Józefa Rusieckiego is coordinated by Erasmus Coordinator, who organizes and supervises the application procedures, financial service program, signing bilateral agreements, qualification and organization of mobility of students and staff, as well as accepting nominations and organizing visits of foreign students and staff from partner institutions. In his duties Erasmus Coordinator is supported by the University’s General Director and the Deans of individual faculties as well as laboratory managers and individual research units operating at Olsztyńska Szkoła Wyższa im. Józefa Rusieckiego. The main objectives of the project are: 1) Development of the international academic community by increasing the number of faculty and foreign students, both incoming and outgoing. 2) Internationalization of Universities carried out on the basis of previously signed international agreements. 3) Allowing students from less privileged region of Poland, which is the region of Warmia and Mazury to get a chance to go abroad for the purpose of gaining knowledge and new experiences. 4) Continuation of work on the quality of studies and construction of attractive educational program offers in foreign languages. 5) Creation of a network of international contacts enabling the exchange of knowledge and experience, conducting joint research projects, internationalization and innovation of scientific and educational cooperation with foreign centers for the benefit of academic staff development. The project Erasmus + mobility with the countries of the program implemented in Olsztyńska Szkoła Wyższa im. Józefa Rusieckiergo in the academic year 2014/15, enabled the students and graduates from the Department of Physiotherapy to carry out a mobility period abroad at a partner higher education institution. Through participation in the project, an employee of the University - Erasmus Coordinator was able to participate in a study visit in a partner institution of higher education. Olsztyńska Szkoła Wyższa im. Józefa Rusieckiego has signed 5 bilateral agreements with institutions of higher education in the following program countries: Lithuania, Turkey, Spain. In the category of exchange of students high score was achieved : 7 outgoing students (for 6 included in the agreement with the National Agency for Erasmus +) which is 1 mobility more than it was originally planned in the financial agreement. In comparison with the previous year, there was an increase in the number of student mobility by 33%. In 2014/15, for the first time in the history of the University, students took a trip to study abroad. In the same year the university, for the second time in history, hosted four foreign students from partner university. In the category of staff mobility, the academic year 2014/15 was the first in the history of the University, when the program funds financed a study trip for administration staff member. This event had a positive impact on the increasing interest in the Erasmus + program among administration and academic staff of the University. The idea of Erasmus + mobility opportunities is becoming more and more popular among the students and academic staff of Olsztyńska Szkoła Wyższa. We are also witnessing an increasing number of visitors from partner institutions. A high rate of satisfaction of participants in the program means that the objectives of Erasmus + of competence raising, gaining European experience and personal development have been achieved. In addition, the university authorities, in order to meet the growing demand form partner institutions of accepting foreign students to study, decided to establish the I st cycle Physiotherapy daytime studies in the English language, which will contribute to the extension of the educational offer for international students at Olsztyńska Szkoła Wyższa.
