Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Catholic University of Croatia (Hrvatsko katoličko sveučilište; further on HKS) is newly founded university in Croatia established in 2006. In 2013 HKS for the first time applied for Erasmus Charter which was granted to HKS in 2014. This particular project (2014-1-HR01-KA103-000044) was the first project granted to HKS by Erasmus+ Programme. The main object was to increase the mobility of our university staff and students. Therefore the main action conducted during the period of project were mobility of learners and staff, that is the higher education student and staff mobility. HKS had received the grants for the mobility of two members of University staff as well as two students. Two of ours younger professors (assistant professors) had spent the period of five days at the Department of History of John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Poland) where they have been involved in the higher education, i.e. each of them had given 8 hours of classes to students of undergraduate as well as MA level. Furthermore, two students of HKS had spent one semester (5 months) at Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Budapest, Hungary). Both of them fulfilled their obligations and received ECTS. Having in mid that the HKS aims at forging long term strategic partnership with at least one world class HEI in the EU area which may serve as a role model for the organizational, educational and scientific development of the HKS in its quest for higher-educational and scientific excellence, this particular project helped us to come closer to this goal. Even more, because a one of the goal of HKS is establishing intensive cooperation in education and training with distinguished Catholic universities, both within and outside the EU, to transfer their know-how and expertise in how Catholic universities contribute to the humanistic, social, economic and scientific development in their respective countries, this project helped a lot in that direction. We strongly believe that further implementation of Erasmus+ Programme will help us to achieve these goals.
