Higher education student and staff mobility project

Students who made the project come from a rural environment, where social and professional habits, when there were, were quite inappropriate. It started from the idea of ​​low academic level of the people living in the vicinity of the institute and the low professional qualification posían as mostly engaged in sectors with few requirements of technical, construction industry, usually in the lower-skilled and service sector, generally cleaning. The goals we wanted to fulfill were as follows, among others: Increase the sense of European citizenship and tolerance for cultural differences (I think that has been achieved in high level), improve specific skills of each professional sector becoming our students more competitive citizens (as will be seen later, it has achieved in perspective), improving language learning in the country, in this case Italian, etc. The profile of the participants of this project were: 5 students of the Higher Degree Administration and Finance. Including a student, although not collected, nor declared in the initial project as a student with special needs, had a hearing disability of 50%, as we did so knowing once in the place of employment and development of the practices of FCT (On the Job Training), making its labor practices with an excellent attitude and attainment of them optimally. The activities were included in the training plan signed by the parties in which they undertook to carry out all the terms contained in it. We can say that all objectives were achieved. The results have been highly satisfactory. Very positive both personally students and professionally and training them. All this continues to have a huge impact from the start of the projects we are doing, both in high school, and in the environment to it. He has served for the ongoing project this year has doubled the number of participants estimated in the first survey was done to apply. We have the impression that every time increases the image of being this, our center, an institute if no reference, whether to consider in terms of the ERASMUS + project on the island of Tenerife. Is why we are the first center of Canary in the number of students who want to do their placements in Europe, which is easily corroborable. Parents have changed their minds about Europe and are considering the possibility that their children do their practices in the EU for they have seen has been a totally positive experience students have done yan practices in the EU in previous editions promoted by the institute.
