Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project was carried out based on the responsibility to be taken that was admitted on Erasmus Charter for Higher Education by our university. We ensured equal access for all participants. We provided full recognition for all students (study and traineeship) with the help of ECTS system. We charged no fees to our incoming students for tuition, registration, exams and access to laboratory or library facilities. We implemented all types of student and staff mobilities which are student study and traineeship; teacher teaching and training mobilities. Total number of outgoing participants for student study mobility was defined as 102 in the grant agreement, and we sent 120 students for this type of mobility. Total number of outgoing participants for student traineeship mobility was defined as 14 in the grant agreement, and we sent 31 students for the placement. Total number of outgoing participants for teacher - teaching assignment mobility was defined as 8 in the grant agreement, and we sent 18 teachers for this type of mobility.Total number of outgoing participants for teacher - training mobility was defined as 5 in the grant agreement, and we sent 13 teachers for this type of mobility. Almost all of the students and teachers reported that they had had a wonderful experience with Erasmus program, and they would like to take part in the program again. These reports show that the program has been successfully carried out at our university. None of the students had a problem related to recognition, and this is a really big problem for some other universities. We also tried to use the grant given to our university effectively. Of course, there will be some fund to be given back to Turkish National Agency; however, this mostly stems from the fact that some students gave up from their mobilities just before the start of the semester. We are going to be more careful about this risk next academic year.
