This Project concerns the mobility of students, academic and administrative staff correspondingly between Abant Izzet Baysal University and higher education institutions and other relavant institutions in European countries. It aims at improving academic learning, skills, social and cultural knowledge exchange and visional capacities of all the participants. Under the Project from our institution, 51 students studied at least one semester; 42 students had at least two-months traineeship; 14 academic staff experienced at least 8 hours of teaching load; and 7 persons had about 5 days of staff training in various European countries. Correspondingly from various countries of Europe, around 40 students studied and had traineeship at our institution; and around 20 academic and administrative staff visited our institution for teaching. However, the institution failed to reach the planned number of outbound students for study mobility due to the language barrier of the students, which required the Office to organize intensive language courses to improve the language skills. For the other mobility types, the planned numbers were reached. The project not only aims to improve the academic and analytical skills of the participants but also to enrich their understanding of different cultures as well as their individual capabilities. It was observed that the students who benefitted from Erasmus mobility in general concentrated on their academic studies more seriously, developed their academic skills, became more selfconfident, adopted into the social life more easily after the mobility period. For the academic staff who had Erasmus mobility experience generally shared knowledge and experience with other colleagues, improved their academic materials and methods in classes and found the opportunity to develop future projects with the colleagues at partner universities. Some of the administrative staff who experienced Erasmus mobility had the opportunity to learn from good pactices abroad and improve their social skills. In general, the project has reached the overall objectives.
