Higher education student and staff mobility project

Lycée Xavier Marmier has had the Erasmus Charter since 2008, and has been a member of the NETINVET network since it was created. It has partnerships with Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Ireland and Germany. The goal is to send students on internships abroad, preferably in a non-French-speaking country. The post-secondary education students are between 18 and 22, the objective is to put into practice in a company what they have learnt in their school training. The main activity during the intership is customer prospection and follow-up on the domestic or foreign markets, as well as the development of business with France. The benefits for the students : they gain maturity, autonomy and fluency in languages; They validate units (4 ECTS), so as to get their BTS degree. There are also long-term benefits for them.
