Higher education student and staff mobility project

At the end of their first year Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Management and Commerce, EGC School (in house school of Sup de V) students have to complete a mandatory professional internship abroad. This traineeship is a complusory part of the course and one of the pedagogical terms to shift from 1st to 2nd year studies. The main targets of the traineeship are: - Discover the overall host company organisation thanks to a synthetical analysis of the mai departments (production/sales/marekting./ accounts/Management/Human Ressources) - Discover working philosophy and habits in a foreign country - Enhance their capacity to understand another way of life as well as another culture and different working methods - Become more open minded and tolerant - Develop their self independence in an international environment - Develop their capacities to adapt to new situations - Develop skills wihich will enable them to have a better integration in their professionnal life - Prepare them for the various challenges they will have to face all along their career - Help them to become European citizens and even citizens of the world The Sup de V participants to the ERASMUS+ project 2014 were completing their frist year Bacehlor Degree immediately post A levels, with no particular experience of the professional environment except theoratical knowledge. During their traineeship, participants were given activities to fulfill mainly in Marketing and Sales departments of their host company: - Participation to the Marketing and Communication activities and strategy - Participation to advertising and promotion campaigns - Participation to the development of the company Web site - Search for potential custoomers - Basic accountancy activities - Help with organising events for the launching of media projects - Maket surveys - Updating data bases - Translation of documents and presentation of product for customers (BtoB) - Participation to the development of a CRM tool - Participation to analysis of partnerships - Calst analysis and proposition for cost cuts - participation to company and products presentation in front of customers (BtoB) - Check customer invoices, prepare official and legal documents for International Air Freight company
