Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Kujawy and Pmorze University in Bydgoszcz supports the formation of an integrated European Higher Education Area through the implementation of the principles of Bologna Accords, Copenhagen Process and Lisbon Strategy. Our activities are focused on the improvement of quality and effectiveness of education understood as a major contribution to the creation of economically competitive and socially coherent European Union. Kujawy and Pomorze University has been cooperating for many years with numerous universities and institutions both within the country and abroad, among others from Great Britain, Norway, Turkey, Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria, Portugal, Latvia, Greece, Kazakhstan, China and Zambia. Vivid cooperation with foreign universities and institutions has become for us a platform for the transfer of innovations essential in the modernisation process of the teaching content of educational programs. Internationalisation constitutes undoubtedly one of the strategic priorities in the development plans of our University. It is not only an exchange of experiences within the frames of agreements between foreign partners, but also a means of promoting learning foreign languages, implementing international content into the teaching curriculum, joint educational programs with partner universities, participation in EU educational programs such as Erasmus+, and various other activities aimed at creating a multinational dimension of education. The most basic targets of the project were focused on the strategic points included in the Stockholm report, namely improving the quality and efficiency of educational systems within European Union, facilitation of the common access to education and adjusting education to the requirements of labor market. Thanks to the projects, the educational process could have been carried out in a multi-cultural environment and constituted an experience that allowed for developing the idea of tolerance and respect towards different cultures and traditions among our students. We have been receiving foreign students since 2007, and we have been doing our best to make their stay with us a source of valuable inter-cultural experience, for both the students and the lecturers. The project enabled realizing 30 mobility programs (11 students and 19 academic and administration staff) to different countries involved in the program, such as Turkey, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia. It is necessary to highlight the fact that study and traineeship programs abroad are becoming more and more popular among the students of Kujawy and Pomorze University, and thus there were more students participating in the 2014/2015 program than initially expected. 100% of the participants were more than satisfied with the experiences gained through their mobility program. They pointed out the fact of gaining new competences and abilities concerned with coping with difficult situations, logical thinking and planning. What is more, all of them highlighted the positive influence of the mobility on the way they perceive foreign cultures. Participation in the Erasmus program is an important element of the process of internationalisation of our University. Thanks to this initiative, the transfer of good practices and innovations has gained a real dimension. Consistent realization of mobility of academic staff and students , who become a ?vehicle? for the already proven solutions, has undoubtedly had a beneficial influence on the modification of teaching curricula, as well as on the implementation of new standards, adjusted to the needs of the globalised labor market. Participation in the program facilitates conscious shaping of a European professional path, as well as constant actualization of competences and abilities, making them open towards the world, thus adjusting them to one?s professional needs. All the above mentioned results constitute long-term benefits and have a long-term impact on the quality of education and later professional career of those who take part in the program.
