Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Nursing Education Institute of the Franco – British “Institut hospitalier” - is assigned with the mission to train health professionals. He made the international opening one of its strategic priority. Since 2009, year of obtaining the Erasmus Charter, the nursing sector benefits from the organization of the mobility implemented by our establishment. This is in line with the European Directive 2005/36 stipulating that the Nurse state diploma enjoys automatic recognition within the European Union. Over the years the project team has created partnerships and we work closely with each of them (Belgium, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic) as part of the mobility of teachers and students. One of the goals of teacher mobility is to work for the sharing and implementation of innovative practices in connection with the reality of the market economy through the study of different training content, tools and means used by our partners. Communication and regular exchanges allow us a greater knowledge of our university education systems, our needs and our respective expectations. Thus, in 2016, 4 teachers of our Institute went to Brussels to be trained with our partners in a new teaching method that fits in one of the priorities of the European Union and of our Institute: health simulation This training is in line with the forthcoming implementation of a laboratory simulation within our IFSI. The university courses currently followed by 2 team members and the training of members of the steering group of the simulation project. Since 2014, 13 nursing students of second year scholars have conducted studies or internship mobility in different hospital departments of the European Union. The benefits of these experiences are multiple: - Improving the quality of care of patients from different culture - Strengthening of acquisitions and professional skills and language learning - Acquisition of professional behavior adapted to multiple situations - Development of their sense of citizenship and their European identity In terms of professional impact, a young graduate was able to integrate immediately the pediatric intensive care unit she expected in France thanks to an Erasmus internship in an equivalent department in Italy. An internship in a child cancer department in Spain allowed another student to ensure their professional project and facilitated its success in entrance examinations in a nursery school. The opening of the Institute for International enabled us to invite some of our partners. So our entire team has benefited from cross-cultural contributions, discussed organizational structures, training plans, and different working methods.
