Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

2014-1-SE01-KA103-000010 is an Erasmus+ Mobility project that is largely based on the Erasmus exchange and scholarship programme such as it has been for the past 30 years. Uppsala University is engaged in four categories of scholarships. * Student exchange. The bilateral exchange of students based on intra-institutional exchange agreements with partner universities within the programme. * Traineeship. The opportunity for students to conduct career related training in a workplace. * Staff Mobility. The chance for employees of Uppsala University to conduct training and skills development abroad. * Teacher Exchange. The exchange of teachers between partner universities within the programme, based on intra-institutional exchange agreements. Uppsala University has been participating since the start of the Erasmus Programme. The long term experience with managing the programme has given the university the time to perfect the administrative and practical setup so that it works for a large and comprehensive university. Uppsala University has a solid project management with a mix of departmental ownership and central management and support. The transition to Erasmus+ has been fairly smooth. The application for the ECHE, and the fact that all intra-institutional agreements had to be renewed to be valid in the new programme, provided an opportunity to perform a thorough review of our partnerships and evaluate our routines for support and monitoring of participants. The project has been very successful with an increased number of outgoing trainees and staff compared to the previous years. The high overall satisfaction rate (94%-100%) of the inbound and outbound participants is proof that the project has been meeting the expectations of participants, both academically and administratively. Uppsala University will continue to participate in Erasmus+ KA103 and, with the feedback from participants, continuously work to improve. Such a large and comprehensive programme with a vast number of participants will lead to results such as: - Raised quality of teaching by discussions on pedagogical methods and learning outcomes as well as new subject specific knowledge. - Well-qualified, open-minded and internationally experienced young women/men to function as role-models, global citizens and future leaders. - More interest in studies abroad from fellow students. The more students that get international experience, the better the university will be at reaching its goals of being a global HEI, having the international perspective be present in all activities at the institution - Advancement of research as links between young researchers and between professors and teachers have been strengthened. Research has to be a collaborative effort and Europe benefits from cooperation in order to maximize resources. - Stronger links between education, research and industry. Not the least with regards to practical placements/internships.
