Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Romanian-German University?s project in Sibiu took place in the context of the Erasmus program in the academic year 2014-2015 under Mobility in the university, action - Key 1. The purpose of this project was to conduct mobility among both students and academic staff. The project included both teaching mobilities and staff training mobilities, and also practical stage mobilities among students. The main objectives of mobility activities carried out under the project were: - to improve the volume and quality of student mobility, - to constantly diversify study and placement mobility for students ; - to facilitate access to mobility for all students, both in bachelor and master studies. Currently, the university does not offer curricula for doctoral studies. - to assist teachers in making as many teaching mobilities abroad, - to facilitate access to training and training for administrative staff of the university, - to enhance cooperation between the university and the economic environment by concluding as many cooperation agreements for student placement. By this, we believe it adds value to acquiring new skills and specific competencies, related to the study programs followed. - to contribute to greater transparency of the European academics, - to widely disseminate the results of the mobilities through informational sessions, through best practice examples and by mentionig all these in all the academic events. - to bring to the forefront multiculturalism with all its benefits, for both students and the academic staff, as well as multilinguism- through foreing language learning process.. - to contribute to the development of new methods and techniques of teaching and learning through continuous exchange of experiences, by following best practice model and by organizing international training sessions for staff involved in European projects and programs. - to lead to the academic recognition of the mobilities, both through the ECTS and the other EU instruments for transparency and recognition, as well as through the learning practical experiences. -to offer equal opportunities to all categories of participants. - a very important goal is to increase the volume of incoming students and staff to facilitate access to information for students or staff who are not beneficiaries of mobility. In this regard, the university has a daring project that aims constantly offering as many courses in three foreign languages - English, French and German. In this respect, the university will become more attractive to incoming mobilities, thus exceeding the language barrier. Within the project, we worked with reliable partners with whom we have a long collaboration. Due to the specificity of the Romanian-German University in Sibiu, all partners with whom mobilities were conducted during 2014-2015, were from Germany. Therefore, Diakonie Neuendettlesau is a partner with whom we carried out annually mobility since 2007, both mobilities among students and among teachers and administrative staff. The same is Wilhelm Lohe Hochschule Furth - Forschungsinstitut IDC, where there is a regular exchange of activities, mobility, summer schools. The other partners, Metro AG and Munich Research Institute are new partners, with whom we started working with this academic year. The topics of mobility actions were mainly economic, students who went abroad being engaged in research in the field of social management. Also, the teacher who carried out teaching activities lectured on topics such as Project Management, Change Management and Non Profit Management. At the project, there attended: 4 students ? practical stage internships, one teacher - teaching internship and 5 teachers - staff training sessions. Selection methods were used in the project, undertaken by Erasmus University Charter and approved by the Internal Selection Regulations. All mobilities, both for the university staff and students were held in best conditions, at return, all required documents have been submitted and all questionnaires were completed. The results are notable: the students acquired new skills of research, have learned new ways of working and interacting with colleagues, and mastered the German language. Therefore, two of them have already been integrated in the labour market within German-speaking companies and are involved in research projects on vocational counselling. Regarding teachers, the results are also visible in the way of interaction with students, in the presentation of teaching materials and in curricula structuring. Long-term benefits brought by this project can be summarized in strengthening mutual relations of collaboration with partners. For example, with Wilhelm Lohe Hocschule and Diakonie Neuendettelsau there will be the annual Summer University. In 2015, there was the 3rd edition of the Romanian-German University and in 2016, the 4th edition at Wilhelm Lohe Hocschule, Furth.
