Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The International policy of Université Joseph Fourier is built around three principles: the attractiveness of the university, its international partnerships and mobility for all. Being an active part of the Erasmus+ program and particularly in Key Action 1 for Higher Education is at the heart of our international strategy. The main aim of the project was to promote the new Erasmus+ program within the university. By acquiring the Erasmus+ Charter, the first step in the process, our university could emphasize once again our commitment to the fundamental principles of the program and to reinforce the awareness of all around the issues of quality. • Quality in terms of partnerships: We have re-assessed most of our partnerships to ensure that they could provide our outgoing and incoming students with opportunities in training and research, and future employment potential. • Quality in student mobility: maintain our exchange potential while developing new internal procedures which take into account the timeframe of the program, new IT tools, secured training programs, language training, … • Quality for staff mobility: encourage and develop both teaching and training staff mobility, by providing individual support for all projects and by finding ways to use and value these mobilities within the university. These activities raise the international awareness of all in a direct way with the individual mobility, but also provide opportunities to develop dual degrees, professional networks, active collaborations to apply for other European calls for projects (strategic partnerships or others). The long term benefits will be a strengthened internationalization and modernization of our university.
