Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

CONTEXT: The curricula of our educational field (Conservation and Restoration of Heritage) are being modified and / or just starting to be taught in many of the institutions offering them, particularly in Italy, the most requested destination by our students. Therefore, we have found difficulties in finding host institutions which were suitable to our training needs. OBJECTIVES: Our institution’s objectives for the year 2014-5 regarding with the activities carried out within the Erasmus + program have been: Student Mobility for Studies: - Learning different approaches and curricula in Europe in connection with C & R Staff Mobility for Training: - Acquiring organizational knowledge on administrative tasks - Acquiring knowledge on promotion and dissemination tasks of the institution through ICT - Provide personal experience No. AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS: The total number of participants in mobilities within the European educational program has been three. In all three cases, our School has acted as sending institution. Two of the participants, students, have enjoyed student mobilities for studies. The third, non-teaching staff, has taken a staff mobility for training. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES: Student mobility for studies: Students have undertaken restoration work on historical artifacts and artworks in different materials. They have been asked to perform their critical skills to select the most appropriate criteria in each situation. Staff mobility for training: The participant has developed administrative work in which she has learned working methods of the host institution: communication methods between students and institution, strategies for disseminating abroad the School’s work. OBTAINED RESULTS AND IMPACTS: Student participants rated their stay at the host institutions as positive and enriching for their educational background. In both cases, students did not pass the total of subjects stated on their learning agreements, so the recognition of credits back at the sending institution could not be complete. The staff mobility for training has been positively evaluated, as most of the expectations raised previously were met.
