Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Our context is a school which provides VET courses and our objective as an aducational institution is to offer our students the widest opportunities possible of formation and working placements, and in order to expand their future working prospects we endeavour to look for European contacts outside our country tha can be suitable to both enrich and enhance their formation and working threshold. The number of participants firstly taking place in the project was four, two students and two teachers, having later increased this figures to one teacher more. The students were in the last year of Higher VET Education on Tourism. Regarding the teachers, two of them were members of the PE and Training and Guiding departments and the third one was our headmaster. while the students both took part in working placements (in Belgium and the UK respectively) the teachers endeavoured to contact enterprises and educational institutions that could in the future be associates of our school. During their mobilities, the students undertook the fulfilment of tasks involved in their working placement. At a different level, regarding the activities carried our during the teachers' mobilities, we can enumerate the following ones: - visits to highschools and enterprises, -observation, -interviews with the staff, managers (or headmasters) -interchange and exposition of ideas about future posibilities of cooperation that could be interesting for both institutions. -drafting of collaborative documents and subsequent signature of agreement on settled matters. The results have been very possitive. One of the students continues working in the same position at present. As for the teachers, thanks to their taking part in this project, we have enlarged our European network of possible future partners. The impact in our institution has been great as it provides feedback on our work, new horizons and a wider perspective.
