In our University the Erasmus is a successful and established experience and this year 2014-15 many students have left for various destinations with different duration. A total of 64 students spent a period of studies abroad, compared to around 100 selected, with a total of 384 months and 13 days provided. The average length of their stay is around then, on average, about 5/6 months; however there is a trend not extending the experience, to be able to take exams during the summer session in Italy. This appears to correspond to prudent attitude, aimed at reconciling yourself to a new experience and the need to avoid wasting of time and money.
Regarding the traineeship we prefer to have two month's payed grant for each student i to involve a larger number of students; for the academic year 2014/15 we had 15 outbond units
Concerning the incoming students it should be noted a positive trend that is gradually increasing every year the number of students who choose our University to conduct their abroad studies. The incoming students were 47 and the average duration of their period of studies was six7seven months. We could note that increase the students who decided to extend after the first semester, which shows that the good feeling in our University. Looking the origin of these students it is observed that nearly 50% of the students come from Spanish Universities, but they also represent many nations (Austria, France, Germany, Belgium, Poland) with the significant presence of Turkey. Instead regardinging the subject areas is interesting to note that these students have made specific choices in our areas of excellence, which are archeology, restoration and educational science.
During the last academic year our Institution received 19 teachers coming in STA More 3 teachers arriving in STT coming mostly from Austria, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, Turkey and France,
Our University had 9 mobility for STA and 3 for STT, using also part of its OS founding to increase the participation of teachers to activities of Erasmus program. Our teachers spent their mobility mainly in Austria, France, Poland, the Netherlands and Turkey to enforce relationships with partners active collaboration; moreover two mobility are directed to the United Kingdom to try to intensify the relations with this country.
