Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Erasmus+ is an important element of the strategy of Wyższa Szkoła Handlowa we Wrocławiu, which relies on practical training, links to business professionals and internationalisation. To implement these pillars of its strategy, the University has appointed a Curricula Council involving local industrial chambers, companies and university authorities, and an International Council with various partners. To engage our stakeholders in curricula management, quality improvement and university development, student activity and participation is also strongly encouraged. Internationalisation is one of the outstanding strengths of WSH, involving such elements as enrolment of regular students from different countries (Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan), employment of foreign lecturers (especially from Germany), but also participation in the Erasmus+ programme. With many years of experience in this area, WSH has struck long-term partnerships and developed as an organisation. Erasmus+ exchange programme has essential impact on achievement of particular objectives of WSH: • Internationalisation and training of students for international markets: outgoing students gain a unique opportunity to learn about different countries and cultures, to learn about their area of studies from different perspectives and to exchange knowledge and experience, but it has to be stressed that incoming students also have an important contribution to education of those local students who choose not to participate in the programme: they are always involved in the local events at the university (e.g. Erasmus+ Days), as well as student activities. • An important objective of our educational work involves shaping social competencies in our students, including such attitudes as mobility, openness, intercultural skills etc. For many students, this can be achieved by variable means, not only lectures and classes in Poland, but also studying, training and internships abroad. • Shaping language skills is always an important element of our curricula (Polish language studies include foreign languages courses, but also some courses taught in foreign languages). Erasmus+ exchange provides our students with an opportunity to practice their language skills both abroad and at the home university via contacts with incoming students and guest lecturers. • Constant development of the faculty and staff – the mobility programme is one of the many activities taken by WSH to help its employees improve their skills and education. • Learning organisation – exchanging experiences and best practices with representatives of partner universities helps WSH work on constant change, development and improvement. Winter semester: SMS–6 Summer semester: SMS–16, SMP–2, STA–1 Cooperation is undertaken with institutions whose offer would correspond to the profile of the University and would enable students to acquire the intended learning outcomes, gain knowledge and professional experience. There are more than 50 bilateral agreements signed (with Universities in Portugal, France, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Turkey, Croatia, Spain, Cyprus and many other EU Countries) and cooperation has been started or continued with institutes offering attractive internships for students in Germany, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Romania. We hope that initiated process of sharing knowledge and experience will bring lasting results in the future.
