Higher education student and staff mobility project

The High Institution EASD Josep Serra i Abella, located in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, is a centre of High Education where taught studies related to Art and Design. The institution began Erasmus programme in 2010, since when, it has sent and received, regularly, students and teachers from the High Institucions partners. The aim is to contiue working: collaborating with partners institutions as well as encourage students to go abroad join erasmus program. In this project the number of outgoing's participants were 9: 8 students ( 6 SMS, 1 SMS Grant 0, 1 SMP), 1 teacher STT. Students SMS chose Paris, Vilnius, Cracovia, Porto; the student SMP Bratislava; and the teacher STT Zagreb. 6 of 8 students' outgoing SMS studied Graphic Design; 1 SMS Photography and Design; 1 SMP did an internship ina a Graphic Design studio. The teacher STT visited a High Institution of Graphic design and Photography. Incoming students: EASD Josep Serra i Abella received SMS students from Turkey, Vilnius, Riga and Porto on Graphis Design field of studies. As well as teachers from Turkey. Students and staff teachers outgoing have qualified as a very good experience obtained during the stay abroad. Have been considered that been taught abroad offers an important added value in their professional and personal areas. Staff teachers has considered very positive the exchange of educational experiences and methodological methods. The institution considers and value in a very positive way the practiques and knowledge exchange; for the students because enrich their formative vision and for teachers because encaourage cooperation and profesional competencies among teachers and staff. The obtained benefits crystallise in share experiences on the profesional field, but without forget the personal enrichment that brings an eramus stay for the students. Another aspect that is important is the need to communicate abroad and therefore, to get the opportunity of speak and improve a foreign language wich is not the mother tongue. The exchange of experiencies as well as to share pedagogical expeiences are benefits that in the future could be increased.
