Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The main objective of our Institution is to provide our students with a comprehensive training as well as personal fulfilment. Therefore, we need qualified teaching staff to accomplish modern and high quality pedagogy. On this context international mobilities give us an essential tool to reach the objective. Our Institution took part on previous calls of this kind and, given the excellent results, we decided to repeat the experience. With regard to our students, we offer them the opportunity to do their traineeships in foreign institutions or firms so as they can complete their training. Regarding our teaching staff, we try to improve their pedagogical training. Two students from First Cycle (EQF), Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property ? grade studies ? and two Artistic Jewellery teachers have participated on this project. The activities carried out by the students have always been aimed to get the required skills to deal with the multiple tasks demanded on the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property field. On this project our students travelled to Viterbo ? Italy ? and Kalkara ? Malta. The main objective of the activities carried out by our teaching staff has been to cooperate with other European institutions on the jewellery field as well as to observe and learn from their teaching methods, so that we can be aware of the different techniques and methodologies, aside from those ones used in our school, applied in the University of the Arts in London. The experience has got excellent results for students and teachers. We are aware that our students value the international mobilities as something essential for their training, and the teachers have improved their pedagogical task. All of that contributes to give our Institution great recognition because of the high quality training offered.
