Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

ERASMUS+ Mobility programme is part and parcel of the global international strategy to encourage international mobility of the students at ENSTA Bretagne. It is compulsory for the latter to validate an international quitus of minimum 12 weeks. The target of 50% of students abroad every year for all years and all majors is part of the objective of the "Contrat d'Objectifs et Performances" of ENSTA Bretagne. The ERASMUS+ program allows to achieve part of this goal. European mobility has been increasing on a regular basis for the 3 last years. 2014-2015 has seen 13 students in Study Mobility - 43 in Internship Mobility and 3 Staff Teaching Mobilities. Out of the 14 students who went on an ERASMUS+ study exchange, 8 did their last semester abroad (M2), the remaining went for their 2nd year of study (referring to an engineering cycle in 3 years, therefore they went for their M1). Regarding Mobility for Internsnhips, thanks to the new format of grants for internships (minimum 2 months) in ERASMUS+, 70% of the students have beneficiated from the program during their 2nd year internship (engineer assistant internship); The others used the program to perform their Master thesis (6 months) mostly in companies. Most of students have performed tasks in R&D according to their speciality. This mobility has offered the opportunity for the students, those in studies as well as those in internships, to improve their language skills, open-up to the world and acquire maturity in their professional project. On top of that study mobilities bring in to the students the possibility to experience another way of teaching and learning : university vs Engineering institution (Grandes Ecoles). Most of the students come back more mature (more adults), with a better motivation in the shaping of their professional project and a bigger tolerance towards the integration of foreign students in incoming mobility.
