Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Nord-Trøndelag University College have taken part in the KA103 mobility project under the platform of Erasmus+. We find the KA103 project to be an important tool to broaden our students horizons and to strengthen international cooperation on the faculty level. During the project period Nord-Trøndelag University College have had different types of activities: Student mobility for studies SMS, student mobility for practice SMP, and staff mobility for teaching STA. During this project period we have had our focus on sending students and teachers to partner institutions we have already had a long and good cooperation with. When senior members of staff is asked to teach at partner institutions we try to get one junior member of staff to accompany the senior member to make international connections on a personal and professional level more accessible throughout the organization. When we have sent students abroad, we have sent them to institutions that our faculty members have visited, have good contacts at and have recommended. During this project period our focus have been on getting fewer mobility agreements, but by choosing to do so, focusing on building stronger cooperation with the partners we have agreements with. We see that this focus have given us far more contact points at our partner institutions. i.e We have had an agreement and a cooperation with the faculty of teachers education at the University of Jena (D JENA01)for many years. We have now expanded the cooperation to include the faculty of business administration, and our students and staff are showing interest in We have, sadly, not met our goals for mobility during this period and this may, at least for the STA mobility be due to an ongoing reform of the Norwegian education sector where all Universities and University colleges have been required to find suitable partner universities to merge with. Nord-Trøndelag University college have decided to merge with the University of Nordland and the University college in Nesna. This process have unfortunately not allowed for as much STA mobility as we hoped for this project period
