Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Grenoble School of Architecture has a study and research activity largely open to international. The privileged relationship with other countries (Italy, Turkey ...), permitted a large number of international conventions promoting the mobility of our students. In terms of organization, an international commission was set up in 1998 in order to identify the various school stakeholders of a political strategy in terms of resources, strategic partnerships and international visibility. A booklet entitled "going abroad" is published annually. Every year, sixty students are selected for an exchange for one semester or a whole year (Europe and outside Europe) and at the same time about fifty foreign students are coming at the Ensag. In Europe, Erasmus + program has allowed each year about thirty students of the ensag to go and study abroad and twenty foreign students to come and study architecture in Grenoble (internship and study). The main objectives of the school as part of this program are: discovering other forms of learning architecture, strengthening linguistic skills, discovering other cultures and developing student?s autonomy. The selection is organized by the head of school in agreement with the members of the international commission. A portfolio is provided by outgoing students after mobility and posted on the website of the school. Every student can apply for a scholarship from the European Community as well as the Ministry of Culture and the Rhône-Alpes region. The 2014/2015 academic year was the opportunity to promote and formalize the selection process regarding teachers' mobility, and the procedure of selection of students internships abroad. 25 students were able to go and study in Europe, including 20 of them for a whole year. They are mainly in their fifth semester. Four teachers were allowed to go seven countries in order to teach and enhance our partnerships. Last not least, about thirty students were welcome at the Ensag in 2014-2015.
