La UPSA considera la movilidad internacional uno de los elementos centrales de su política internacional. Participamos en el programa Erasmus casi desde la implementación del programa. Al principio, la movilidad consistía en enviar y recibir un par de alumnos. Con el tiempo, se ha incrementado considerablemente y se ha abierto a toda la comunidad universitaria. Nuestros objetivos principales para el 2014-2015 han sido la promoción de la movilidad Erasmus entre nuestros profesores y PAS y la consolidación del número de alumnos que participan en el programa, promoviendo la movilidad en facultades con poca movilidad en cursos anteriores. Durante el 2014-2015 hemos tenido 55 alumnos Erasmus de estudios de grado de diferentes facultades. Han cursado asignaturas en la universidad de destino, en el idioma de su institución receptora, o en inglés. Algunos alumnos han realizado prácticas que han sido reconocidas por el practicum de su titulación. Cuatro alumnos han realizado prácticas en el marco del Programa Erasmus+ y han realizado prácticas en su propio ámbito de estudios. En la movilidad de profesores para docencia han participado 8 docentes. El perfil de los beneficiarios ha sido muy diverso a nivel de facultades y áreas de enseñanza. Las actividades que han llevado a cabo eran clases magistrales, workshops y seminarios, en función de lo acordado con la universidad de destino. Además, 6 miembros del PAS han realizado una estancia Erasmus. El perfil del PAS ha sido muy diverso a nivel de antigüedad. Todas las estancias han sido de “Jobshadowing” en el servicio o departamento homólogo y han sido movilidades acordadas entre la UPSA y la universidad de destino. La valoración de la estancia Erasmus ha sido muy positiva. El alumno recibe tanto un beneficio personal como académico que se refleja en los estudios posteriores a la estancia y también a nivel profesional se valora la experiencia internacional. Los docentes y el PAS han valorado la experiencia como positiva. Las estancias de profesores han llevado, en la mayoría de los casos, a nuevos contactos y a futuras colaboraciones con la universidad de destino. Para el PAS, el impacto es quizás menor, pero también los contactos hechos son beneficiosos a nivel institucional y el beneficio de conocer el trabajo en otra institución aporta ideas a la hora de realizar las tareas en la institución de origen. UPSA considers international mobility one of its main principles within its international policy. Our institution participates in the Erasmus programme since almost the start of it. In the beginning, the participation was limited to sending and receiving only a couple of students. Along the years, the mobility has increased considerably and it is accessible for the whole academic community. Our main aims for 2014-2015 have been the promotion of Erasmus mobility for academic and administrative staff and the maintainance of the number of students who had participated in the programme. We tried to achieve this objective by promoting the mobility in faculties with less participation in previous years. During 2014-2015, 55 of our first cycle students of different faculties participated in the Erasmus programme (studies). They followed subjects in their host institution in the language of instruction of the host university or in English; and some of the students undertook an internship which has been recognized as “Practicum” in their home degree. Four students did a placement in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme. Their placement was in the same field as their studies at UPSA. Concerning teacher exchange, 8 lecturers have participated. The profile of the candidates has been very diverse regarding the faculties and the areas of teaching. The activities ranged from classes to workshops or seminars, according with what was agreed with the host university. Six members of our administrative staff have spent an Erasmus stay. Their profile was diverse regarding their years of experience at UPSA. All the mobilities have been jobshadowing in the equivalent department and they have been mobilities previously arranged between UPSA and the host university. The evaluation of the Erasmus period has been very positive. The benefits for the students have been personal as well as academic. This is reflected in their studies after the Erasmus period and, on the professional level, this international experience has also bestowed a clear benefit. Our academic and administrative staff has valued the experience as positive. For the teachers, the Erasmus mobility has led, for most of them, to the establishing of new contacts and future cooperation with the host institution. For our administrative staff the impact might have been less. Nevertheless, they also established contacts which are favourable for our institution. To know how other institutions take care of the daily work and management of their job can be an additional value for the job at the home institution.
