Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

EASD Pablo Picasso school has been participating in different actions of Erasmus Program since the application and granting of the ERASMUS University Charter for 2008/2009. As every year, the commission selects participants, both teachers and students, for different activities in accordance with the requirements of transparency, equity and coherence required. In this call, all the students who applied for the project, have been selected. There were four mobilities of students for schools in two countries (Belgium and Portugal). In all cases students have been admitted to the requested schools in their first choice. The four students have completed the first quarter of the 4th year of the Graphic Design Studies and have obtained 30 ECTS credits with a satisfactory result. Before their departure, the students have had several meetings with the Erasmus coordinator to inform, prepare and sign all required documentation, as well as the department head has guided them with the learning agreement. As a part of their training, before their departure, the students have done an Erasmus intensive language course with the appropriate level to their destination. During their stay, the Erasmus coordinator has maintained regular contact, via email, with students. In all cases, changes have been made in learning agreements with the advice of the Erasmus coordinator and approved by the respective leaders of department. The reason was, especially the incompatibility of schedules between subjects.. When they arrived, the school proceeded to the recognition of credits contained in the individual file for each student. In the first quarter, the EASD Pablo Picasso school has hosted a student from Hacettepe University in Ankara (Turkey) in Interior Design studies, and, in the second quarter, the school has hosted another student from Turkey and one student from Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche- Faenza (Italy) have also completed courses of Interior Design Studies. The students were received by the Erasmus coordinator who adapted the schedules for the subjects they have chosen, making the necessary changes. The tutor students, the teachers tutorials and the reduced ratios in the courses facilitate the integration of the students in our school. To increase the visibility and the impact of the project, students can publish on social networks written and / or visual documentation of their school experience. Furthermore, these students participate in the briefing where the new call is exposed, allowing the entire educational community benefit from their experience. Within the goals that are incorporated into the annual plan, the EASD Pablo Picasso also has signed a new agreement with the Higher School of Technologies and Arts of Lisbon (ESTAL) and we have updated the Erasmus guide .
