Higher education student and staff mobility project

Polytechnic of Medimurje in Cakovec successfully conducts Erasmus programs since 2008 and every year more students and staff are interested in participating mobility activities. Project duration period was from 01/06/2014 to 30/09/2015 and conducted activity was K1. Objectives of the project were to enable to the students and staff of the Polytechnic to exchange experience and adopt good practices of studying, performing professional practice, teaching and adopt new teaching practices in the EU partner countries. Specific objectives purport expansion of partner network which was achieved by concluding new bilateral agreements (FH Joanneum, Austria, University of Cyprus, University of Pecs). 9 students participated student mobility for studies which was fully achieved and student mobility for practice was partially achieved with 2 students. Students engaged in SMS activity were full-time students from three study programs - management, computing and sustainable development, staying in EU program countries for 5 months (University in Brno, Portoro? Slovenia, IPCA Portugal, Faculty for design, Slovenia, University of Primorska, Slovenia). Students engaged in the SMP activity were full-time students doing practice at IPCA Portugal and company Shaz Entrepreise from Barcelona, Spain - 2 months each student. Concerning teaching and non-teaching staff there were 3 teaching staff members in mobility program and 2 non-teaching staff members. One teaching staff member performed teaching activities at Adnan Menders University in Turkey and other two members did job-shadowing in University of Pecs and attended workshops and adopted good practices in Faculty for design in Slovenia. One non-staff member achieved networking through international week at University of Cyprus and one non-staff member did workshops at Malta. Other mobility impacts include engagement in preparation for future projects with achieved contacts, expansion of future networking and improvement of teaching process, as well as internalization of the Polytechnic.
