The reality of the Institute of Musical Studies "Toscanini" Ribera is quite peripheral in terms of territorial and socio-economic system compared to the European Music Universities. Teachers and students of Toscanini have still difficulties (for the recent contingent economic crisis) to insert between their personal and professional life prospects of the widening of career development at the territory of Europe, to multiplying in fact opportunities for job placement. After the launch of the Erasmus program at the ISSM Toscanini, difficulties previously highlighted, to benefit from the opportunities of membership to the common area of European citizenship Community, related not only to the language, but over all to the lack of direct knowledge of the different realities of professional life, remain. The ISSM Toscanini has succeeded in creating a widespread network of contacts with institutions in several EU countries and, albeit with difficulty, to start some relationships of correspondence for remote analysis of the training and possible additions for mobility. The contacts were limited to a preliminary exploratory reciprocal opportunities and training needs. During the implementation period of the project, the Institute is committed to an economic crisis linked to the institutional reform under way in Sicily and still not accomplished. This has conditioned definitively the realization of what has been programmed, without any possibility of solution by the Institute.
