The Internationalization strategy of the University of Santiago de Compostela puts the focus on the international mobility of its students and staff, among others, through the Erasmus programme. The university has taken advantage of the mobility tools and finacial support of programme since nearly its outset, taking part in the different phases of the programme (Socrates, LLP, Erasmus+). The main objective of this project is to provide to our students and university staff learning, training and working opportunities in institutions belonging to programme countries, with the aim that the largest number of students and staff may profit from such a mobility. This project has provided for the mobility of 350 students for study placements, 18 students for training, 38 member of the teaching and research personnel for teaching assignments and 11 university staff members to receive training abroad. The results of the project are the expected ones considering the project's objectives.
