Higher education student and staff mobility project

INSEEC Business School supports men and women in their initial as well as continuing education by helping them define and bring to fruition their professional projects within any type of organization both in France as well as internationally. IBS teaches students how to understand international practices enabling them to meet the challenges of world markets. Students learn these fundamental skills at IBS or while abroad. The ERASMUS + project financial assist students wanting to go abroad and better understand the first-hand challenges of other markets as well as support the internationalization at home project in which foreign students are able to come to IBS and learn about the problems facing the French market. IBS’s main object is to increase the student mobility. Through the strategic double degree partnerships, highly motivated students who envision themselves working abroad have the opportunity to both study and complete an internship within the European neighborhood. Other students who would like to work in France for an international company or who would like to become more aware about European or international arena, are encouraged to study abroad as an ERASMUS+ students. These students have the general to advanced understanding of English or another European language and typically are following one of the English major offered. Once completing the mobility students are more susceptible to problems facing other parts of European and the world and better understand how France can influence policy the European markets. Other activities within the ERASMUS + project include, professor mobility and staff mobility. Every years, IBS organizes an International Academic Seminar session in which 10 professors from around the world lectured on the IBS campus, many of them coming via the ERAMSUS + professor mobility grant. In turn, IBS professors were invited to teach at the partner institutions. Facilitating the synergies between professors and the research department has help IBS develop a database of potential guest lecturers. As IBS would like to mainstream a visiting professor module into the academic curriculum, this database and continuous dialogue with other teaching staff is relevant and beneficial.
