Higher education student and staff mobility project
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

At Business Academy South West the management is responsible for the international strategy and they also have the responsibility of approving and monitoring the inter-institutional agreements. The operational responsibility lies with the staff at the international office and the staff here is in close contact with the international relations offices at the partner schools. Our strategy has been to have a small but well organised number of bilateral agreements and the agreements have been made with those institutions where we have our students and teachers interest. Our goal is to increase the number of outbound students for studies so that we can get a balance in the inbound and outbound numbers. This has been a challenge in this project period because of lack of interest among the students and problems with the recognition of the semester abroad. We have been working strategically to change these obstacles. We have among other things done following: - We have had compulsory information meetings for all students. We used to only invite students that had shown interest in study abroad but now we want all students to hear about the opportunities. - All programs have been asked to identify a mobility window in their curriculum so that it is totally clear how and when the students can go abroad. - All programs have been asked to name an "Internationalisation Ambassador" that is responsible for information and motivation of the students.
