We have been developing European politics for more than 25 years for apprentices and pupils preparing a vocational Baccalauréat.
Despite the small number of students, we ahve been developing Erasmus process and programs for 10 years in the higher level.
Young people are only trained for a BTS ( a specific French technical two-year training in schools and not universities) concerning industrial topic.
Our aim is to allow them to get a vocational training abroad so that they can have a larger view of the world, acquire new professional competences and write added values on their CV.
We can add that, in the curriculum, they are not obliged to go abraod for their training.
The young people are trained in a school but their are consideresd as students.
The participants were students in CRSA (Conception and Realisation of Automatism and Systems).
The three students went to Germany. We decided to send them there because of our link and partnership with the school there. this school helped us to look for the students and found the companies where the 3 students could work.
The results of this mobility were very positiv because the students could acquire the competences which were necessary for passing their exam.
On a personal aspect, their ability for curiosity allowed them to discover the country, its daily life and also the cultural sites.
We were confronted to difficulties especially because of the caracteristics of the BTS and the demands of the ERASMUS (duration of the training).
But we could find some solutions and we were obliged to think together to develop new ideas.
Moreover, as we had decided to have a "white year" and to low the number of participants, the reactions came rapidly.
The teams from the different trainings reacted and because of the positiv experince, told us that they would like to go on and be more involved.
The conclusion of this flow is no doubt the motivation to focus on stragegy and to reorganise our process.
We think that we can develop mutual work with French partners because one of the impacts was the applications of other French institutions.
Perhaps we can create a consortium.
We thought of it last year but ot was too early.
