The project is part of Telecom SudParis strategy, as explained in the Erasmus+ charter application of the School. The School has a major ambition to train students sensitive to globalization and able to work in multicultural contexts, as well as to be an internationally recognized institution, particularly in the European area of higher education and research. For this purpose, the strategic guidelines retained are divided into several lines including: - To increase dual degrees , - To foster Teacher and Researcher mobility - To promote and enhance the visibility of the school. After the signature of the amendment in May 2015, the project objectives were to support a total of 23 student mobilities and 5 staff mobility. The student mobility directly contributes to the School’s ambition which is to train students who are internationally open minded. The staff mobility contributes to strengthening the links between the School and its international partners and also to enable the school to progress in its strategy as mentioned above. The amendment was established with a smaller number of departures than was initially planned in the contract, however, the revised number has been totally consumed. Students who had benefited from an Erasmus+ mobility were particularly satisfied with it, therefore Telecom SudParis considers that the project has fulfilled its objectives. Moreover, thanks to the Erasmus+ scholarship, Europe remains the preferred destination of Telecom SudParis students; Europe represents about 40% of the departures in study mobility . The long-term objective is to have more synergies at the European level to foster our teaching, incorporating good practices and innovative methodologies, in addition to allowing the students who have benefited from an Erasmus mobility to promote economic and cultural cooperation in Europe in their future professional life.
