I am writing and pleased to let you know that this is a Secondary School in which we also teach Vocational Training Cycles. One of those is High Level Training Cycle in Administration and Finances which involves a three month's intership in an enterprise (Formación en Centro de Trabajo-FCT-). Erasmus Programme enables some of our students to implement those interships (FCT) in UE countries. That is what we have been doing successfuly since 2009 till now. The Programme goals are to provide the students involved a life-time experience getting to know other cultures, develop the main vocational skills, improve another language, generate new contacts across borders... Last year edition within 2014 three students participated in this Programme; two of them in Bologna (Italy) and another one in Birkikara (Malta). Within their staying there they accomplished 370 hour intership dealing with administrative tasks relative to their studies but in a foreing country. The outcomes achieved by students have always been highly positive. They have lived an enriching and rewarding experience gaining in maturity, they have improven their second language, they have experienced intercultural understanding at work in a foreing language. In the long run it will pay off regarding a higher quality in their future employability.
