The initiators of the project are young people of Polish, Lithuania and Slovakia, who decided to answer the the question: to what extent culinary art is present in the culture and history of the countries participating in the project. Analysis of traditional cuisine, its evolution through the centuries in the context of the historical background aims to show young people that represent the culture of each country. Under the pretext of a common culinary discovery centuries ago, the participants make self-reflection on the future of closer cooperation in Central European countries. In this case, focus on the integration of young people cooperating with non-governmental organizations dedicated to the fight against xenophobia and prejudice among their peers.   Taking into account the fact that we are behind centuries of history, and both geographical proximity as and cultural one of the goals of the project is to find ways to "disarm" nationalistic attitudes addressed to Poles, Lithuanians and Slovaks. These attitudes appear are reports of surveys conducted among Polish citizens, Lithuania and Slovakia. For example, every fourth Litwin considers Poland hostile country and the Poles are not indebted to the neighbors, every third no love neighbors sympathy. Political scientists and sociologists believe that the greatest impact on the bad atmosphere between said countries affected by historical events and current minority policy which reflects directly on the part of society. Initiative group will invite 10 young participants from smaller towns in each country, the project meetings will prepare traditional meals together in an attempt to restore the historical background of their creation and administration. Youth will have the task to create a list of recipes for traditional national dishes with a presentation on the history of the region from which they come. During the first meeting of the project will be established: • historical and culinary blog content is stated on the web • ideas for a calendar promoting the project and culinary traditions • International traditional feast during which the youth will be hosting for the local community The most important competences acquired through the implementation of the objectives, the duration of the entire project will be: • ability to achieve creative and unconventional thinking translates into the development of attitudes and social pro supranational integration • improving the cultural competence: project participants will be young people from countries culturally and geographically close. Young people will overwork the ground issues of conflict and seek simple methods of solving them • increasing social skills by mastering the ability to create ties and interaction with others, the ability to work in a group to achieve common goals, the ability to perform collaborative tasks and joint problem solving. • improving language competence by spending time with an emphasis on developing ideas in an international team, working groups during the workshops will always be composed of representatives of the three countries. • increased self-confidence and self-empowerment of young people through a sense of being needed, it will result from the number of tasks assigned to participants throughout the duration of the project.
