Although our school is in the city center, it has a socially and economically disadvantageous environment.We ,Mehmetçik Secondary, have understood that our two main problems are early school leaving and students who have learning difficulties .We have applied for this project to see how European Countries deal with these problems and to learn from their experiences. Our seven teachers will go to Spain to have a 5-day-course about early school leaving.Later 7 teachers,4 of them are same ,3 of them are different; will go to Finland to have a 5-day-course about special education.Our participants are 2 managers,2 English teachers ,and from all branches and they have education experiences. We will make four surveys for the teachers, students and parents; before and after the project, so that we will understand the benefits of the project.The results will be shared with other countries via an e-twinning project, also with parents and other teachers of our district. With this project we aim to reduce early school leaving, to give a chance to enabled students to comply with their classmates so that to increase the level of our school's success, to improve the communication between teachers, students and parents, to share our experiences and knowledge with other teachers so that they will use this knowledge in their life.Participants will learn how to manage and reduce stress levels thereby improving not only their overall health but also their day to day interaction with students and colleagues by applying Energy Psychology Techniques in order to reduce early school leaving. Objectives: - Solve and reduce stress levels and develop the necessary abilities to manage emotions. - Create strategies on how to deal with and eliminate violent or aggressive behaviour. - Understand the causes of physical and mental health issues within the teaching profession. - Improve interpersonal relationships within the education environment. - Identify limiting and negative beliefs and transform them into positive and supporting ones - Analyse bullying, aggressive behaviour and violence, both physical and verbal. - Overcome anxiety within the classroom. In the long term, our benefits will be used in other schools, our school will be a good example to them with its success and improvement, will encourage other schools to overcome the same problems ina positive manner.Our motto is 'If we want to change our environment, first we have to change ourselves'
