The given challenge of crossing borders is a chance to broaden the learners’ horizon, to gain international knowledge and to develop expertise in terms of life-long learning. The focus of the project is set on the confrontation with the foreign educational and health care system related to theoretical and practical parts of the training. Being and working abroad the students should get an overview of the application of nursing models, theories and concepts and the usage of care techniques and innovative nursing aids that are practiced at the host care institutions.Another aspect relates to the issues of integration and inclusion, and in particular concerning the students’ practice.Above all, the project promotes the students occupational mobility and flexibility.
