The main objective of the project is to work between generation difficulties and to learn how to be “naturised”, living in the harmony with nature. Getting to know which wild plants are edible, prepare meals from it, making natural soap and create a playground. The final outcome will be creating a minibook with herbarium and recipes for meals made from wild plants which will indicate what kind of nature welfare does the area of Bela krajina offer and what can be done with it. The aim of the following exchange is to learn practical work, working in group, guided discussions, breaking cultural barriers, encourage environmental awareness and form a lifelong friendship. The activities, such as team building games, round table and debate, creating a minibook, nature trail, trip to National park Kolpa, visiting ecological farm, everyday 30 minutes exercise and sports activities will increase active life of each individual participant of the project. Getting in touch with nature, outdoor activities and creating from natural materials will be the main topic of the exchange. Through non-formal education the 24 youngsters will be led by the menthors that will run particular workshop. Towards the end the participants will be creating minibook with herbarium and recipes for meals made from wild plants and present it to the locals and other members of our society. The other product will be nature soaps made from wild herbs and they will be present for nursing home for elders in Metlika. The participants involved will come from Italy, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Slovenia. This project will be undertaken by the river of Kolpa at Camp Breza, Metlika city center and Metlika's countryside. That represents a great opportunity for participants to interact with other members of Kud Plac. Final product, mini book with recipes from wild edible plants, will be presented in Youth center Metlika and will stay there for the locals and members.
