The project "Healthy lifestyle fans" of the society "Daugavpils Street culture" will be implemented in Daugavpils, Latvia. The project will run for 9 month from 01.01.2016 to 30.09.2016. The main project themes are health and wellbeing A healthy lifestyle since early youth increases the chances for a good quality of life in the future. More important, it provides the elements for good mental and physical health during the growth stages of person, so it is particularly important for young people timely provide the necessary knowledge of a healthy lifestyle and its components. An integral part of a healthy lifestyle is sports activities, which not only improves well-being of people, but also is one of the ways how to promote active participation of young people.The aim of the project is to develop healthy lifestyle habits among young people and promote their active participation in society and social inclusion through outdoor activities.Project activities phase will last for10 days ( 14.07.-23.07.2016.) In the project will take part 28 young people from the Latvia, Bulgaria, Lithuania and Czech Republic. The project will be based on the principles of non-formal education, using non-formal teaching methods such as group work, brainstorming, presentations, and other creative tasks.The project will provide the opportunity for different cultures to work together, to find common solutions to a wide range activities, to make friends that will develop the spirit of unity in the participants and in such way will be reduced common culture stereotypes and prejudices in the society especially among young people. Project will positively impact the participants, which will have an opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills, learn different cultures. The present project will provide for the project partners new experience and new partners for further cooperation. The impact of this project will be noticeable at local, regional and national levels.
