The purpose of the project is to establish the basis for a crossborder service with efficient and smooth assistance in connection with emergencies, both pre-hospital and hospital services. The project is a cooperation between the responsible hospital authorities in the region; Region Skane, Copenhagen Hospital Corporporation and County of Copenhagen.It is important to create the necessary contacts and network that can handle large accidents and emergencies. It is important that there are enough educated resources and assistance in case extra resources on either side of Sound are needed. A strong cooperation and knowledge about each other can strengthen an integrated cooperation in concrete situations and thus reduce the societys vulnerability.
