With the mobility activity it is planned to increase the competences of the VET teachers of the fields namely; Child Development, Food-Beverage, Accommodation-Travel, Radio-TV and Journalism, Marketing- Retail, Regular Nursing, Nursing of old people, Beauty-Hair Care, Furniture-Wooden Technology, Motor Vehicles, Photography and Metal Technology. The project has enabled VET teachers to observe how VET skills have been transferred to students in the EU context. With the school experience they have been able to observe the administration, works and sector relations of the VET schools in EU countries and they have been able to gain experience in the sector by observing the developments in their fields. It is desired this experience to bring a new point of view to the VET education. It is of great importance for the VET teachers to gain skills and competences that are to be transferred to the VET students beforehand. Increasing the vocational knowledge, manners and competences means contribution to the development of all actors within the VET education system. Therefore, skill training of the VET teachers will contribute to the establishment of a link between the labor market and education system, integration with the EU in vocational field, establishment of supply and demand balance in the labor market. Moreover, with this skill training it is aimed VET teacher to be able to overcome the monotony they experience in their fields in terms of knowledge, skills, competences and manner/behaviors. Having the necessary skills and competences in the relevant field is an important aspect in the vocational education. And to gain such competences by doing and learning method is the direct output of the project. Knowing something theoretically is not enough for the education and training. And for the participants it is important to know how to transfer the knowledge and to digest knowledge by seeing and doing. Knowledge won’t be permanent unless gained with efforts. Therefore it is planned to digest knowledge by doing and implementing in the project. With this object it is aimed VET education in our country to integrate with the EU. Moreover, with the project it is aimed to contribute to the development of VET teachers in terms of knowledge, skills, competences, manner/behaviors necessary to live in a foreign culture as well as foreign language skills relevant to their fields. Mobility activity took place when the schools were on holiday and before the activity all the participants were through the pedagogic, cultural and language preparation process. Under the project 260 VET teachers in 12 fields participated in the mobility activity.
