Context/background of project As a consulting company, we develope people, groups and organizations. We create learning organizations that are more efficient. The learning organization concept is interpreted and applied for ourselves as well, since we believe in lifelong learning. In order to create and increase competitive advantage, we continuously develop our employees and our organization. We are commited towards deepening our self-knowledge and competencies. Objectives of the project - Development of our colleagues’ professional competencies, extension of training and consultany toolbars, shaping attitudes and supplementing skills in the following fields: o Mindfulness based techniques, eg. MBCT o Positive psychology methods, eg. Gestalt, Appreciative Inquiry, Brief Coaching (Solution Focus), Flow o Training effectiveness measurement o Conflict management o Assertive communication o Leadership and team coaching methodologies o Management trainings in English - Identification and understanding of new trends in consultancy and adult education. - Acquirement of high level English skills in order to satisfy the needs of the international management teams of multinational companies and to meet foreign orders. - Transfer of Anglo-Saxon rooted methods (MBCT, positive psychology, narrative coaching, NLP, etc.), latest trends and innovations. - Obtaining new international relations in order to realize joint professional develepments and to strenghten our positions regarding international tendering cooperations. Number and profile of participants - All our colleagues (11 people) selected for the mobilities are trainers, consultants with several years of experience in their respective professional fields. - All of them are psychologists or economists who regularly train themselves and participate in researches and developments. - Our current projects being realized by the active participation of the applicant colleagues, are built on mindfulness based stress management, positive psychology and solution-focused, narrative couching techniques. Description of activities - During the 24 months project 11 colleagues obtain 21 mobilities attending 9 different courses. - They will participate in short-term training courses and workshops in the following fields: MBCT, positive psychology, narrative psychology, Gestalt, management methods and English studies. Methodology to be used in carrying out the project - As for our company’s organizational culture, there is a basic expectation and requirement towards all our colleagues having the chance to learn new methodologies, namely that after their trips they should organize targeted knowledge-sharing workshops for our professional team, the trainees and our strategic partners. - The new techniques, methodologies and manuals are being shared in our online experience- and knowledge-management device that we have been developing for three years and that is an excellent platform for widening knowledge, for sharing questions and dilemmas regarding the new information and for obtaining the answers in a collective way. - Like this, the updated knowledge constantly circulates in the organization and the questions and new aspects raised by the knowledge-sharing activities are delivered to the subsequent training course taken by the colleague who travels next, so that the travellers often arrive at their respective courses with „organizational missions” that are questions to be cleared and aspects to be detailed. A short description of the results and impact envisaged - Secure and self-confident English-speaking colleagues in action, also in international environment. - Expanding professional expertice and updating our toolbars. - First class professional action in consultany, trainership and adult education thanks to the first-hand acquirement of the latest methods and techniques, and also to the inspirative observation of catches and approaches used by the most credible experts with great routine. - Renewal, improvement and raising competitivness regarding our most sought programs like management trainig, conflict managements, assertive communication and team-coaching. - Expanding our international network. The potential longer term benefits - Maintaining our competitive edge and creating competitive advantage. - Sustainable international relations and partnerships in proposals through the development of our English skills. - International opening and multiplicator effect in our knowledge-sharing mission and role. - Conversion to a widely known and highly recognised knowledge-sharing base and intellectual center thanks to the gained knowledge and experiences.
