Happy Active Youth Project

Happy Active Youth Project (H.A.Y.P. ) is dedicated for young people for understanding the importance of the being active and how it can affect changes. The project provides not only theoretical knowledge of health and physical activity issues , but also enjoyable activities that do not require high level of professionalism . Sport is introduced not as a difficult job, but as a fun activity that doesn’t require a lot of effort. The project aims to promote the connection of youth between two countries of the European Union and exchange of knowledge in the field of youth in order to increase their own activity. The main objectives are: 1) to achieve the objective of the project by forming an international team / s 2 ) to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to properly educate themselves actively using experiential methods 3 ) to develop recommendations / plans between the same aged people and promoting healthy and physically active lifestyle for family members. Discussions will take place through the prism of two different cultures: how healthy and active life style is taught in families , at schools and in the community . What is more encouraged - the defeat or the promotion of health ? Properly selected environment, the methods being used and the activities will be a challenge to young people themselves to grow spiritually, physically, mentally. Focusing not only on the debate, but also on the involvement of the changes. The project will take place in stages: The first phase: August 9 - 11. On the first day of the exchange of young people they will be accommodated in families. This will allow for the foreign youth to get to know other cultures , traditions and customs. These activities seek to draw the attention of the participants to observe the other party's family promotion of healthy and active living to see the differences and similarities. That would be an introduction for the participants to the follow-up to find solutions to the problems of the established goals. Second phase: August 11-14. Living and working together in groups for searching and considering the problems and causes of and finding the solutions to solve them. Preliminary activities will be provided, but the participants will be able to maximize the results of them by influencing the general debate by expressing their views. Third stage: August14 - 16 days. The anniversary of Jurbarkas city 755 years. Erasmus + and Project H.A.Y.P's performance delivery / publicity. The project will allow young people to try out a variety of non-traditional sports activities, to debate and contribute in seeking solutions of the passive lifestyle. All participants will get a Youthpass.
