Gyki goes internationalOur main issue is enhancing our intercultural and methodical competence with the following aspects.We would like to strengthen the social and methodical comeptence of our teams, who teach students with special needs. Therefore we would like to improve the quality of our lessons by a variety of methods combined with a lasting international development of our school. Thus increasing the intercultural orientation of classes, teachers and students.The knowledge gained should be used to plan our new school building in order to create innovative learning environments. 11 teachers take part in this project: counseller for student exchanges, reading support, school development, school psychologist and school counseller. They attend courses in European countries, concerning the topics: New Learning Environments, Classroom Management, School Dropout, Teaching Strategies, Inclusive Education, Soft Skills for Teachers, Internationalization and Structured Visits to Schools and Institutes. In the long-term the international profile of our school should be strengthened to give teachers and students a profound understanding of the European dimension, especially today.
