Grow Creative
Date du début: 1 août 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project “Grow Creative” is an international youth exchange which took place on October 6-17, 2015 (departure day included) in Rijeka, Croatia. It gathered 30 young people (5 + 1 team leader) from 5 European countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Italy and Spain to explore the topic of youth unemployment and increase personal employability with the help of coaching and NLP tools. We included people in disadvantageous situations more exposed to the risk of unemployment (60% of young people with fewer opportunities) and those currently finishing their studies, as well as took into consideration personal motivation in the selection process. The idea of the project was developed as a response to unfavorable situation on European labor market for young people who finish their education and face a number of inner and outer obstacles on the way to personal and professional realization. The set objectives of the project were successfully achieved: by active participation in the youth exchange, preparation and follow-up activities participants developed their inner motivation, boosted their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, improved a learning process and were encouraged to responsible problem-solving, as well as explored and experienced social inclusion, more active participation in society and intercultural understanding. On all phases they were supported by hosting and sending organizations, as well as their group leaders. In frame of learning-by-doing approach the main activities of the exchange included practicing neuro-linguistic programming and coaching tools, delivering interactive lectures and exercises, social games, role-playing, presentations, workshops and energizers created and delivered by participants. The project had significant impact on participants and partner organizations, as well as gained visibility and results announced through a number of activities: local activities in all participating countries delivered by participants with the help of their sending organizations, publications and reviews online, a video and toolkit highlighting the activities of the youth exchange etc. At the same time we got a positive feedback from participants, good evaluation conclusions with partners and inspiration to develop other coaching/NLP training courses. Long-term the project contributed to participants finding meaningful jobs/internships/volunteering opportunities and increased their impact in society by sharing experience and organizing local activities, as well as established good relationships between partner organizations for mutual projects that we’re creating at the moment or already submitted for financing.
