Grenzenlos trainieren - Austausch und Begegnung
Date du début: 1 sept. 2016, Date de fin: 30 nov. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The project consists in a cooperation between Champions ohne Grenzen (Berlin) and Kicken ohne Grenzen (Wien). Both organizations are committed to the social integration and participation of refugees by using open and free of charge football practices as the main tool. As the structures of the traditional football system are not easily accessible to people of diadvantaged backgrounds, there is a considerable need for barrier-free projects like the ones mentiones above. Being aceessible without barriers in regards to bureaucracy, knowledge, finances, language, etc., these projects promote a welcoming culture in Germany and Austria even beyond the football field: The football practices provide meeting points that lead to further educational and (inter)cultural opportunities, as well as they provide the energy to create a sense of community for those that are usually segregated (socially and space-wise) from each other. The project aims at an educational and cultural program for both: the participating refugees as well as local actors on-site. The elements are two encounters of the initiatives as well as qualification programs on-site, through which local players/coaches/other stakeholders (referees, teachers, etc.) of other football clubs are trained so that they also can take on tasks in the field of integrative sporting offers. Up to now, the sporting associations do not provide any formations that are inclusive to refugees. The formations still lack sensitivity or adequate language with the result that refugees that even have had a lot of experience in the field of coaching are structurally excluded. During thir meetings, the two initiatives build the basis for a common work, indicate common goals and deliver workshops to each other as peers and experts. Additonally, there will be an exchange about the living situations of refugeed in both countries, common discovery of the social spaces, exchange of shared experiences and obstacles and the development of potential strategies to overcome the barriers. The youth encounter is planned in both cities, Vienna and Berlin, 5 days each. They will contain a.) (sporty) encounter and workshops between the two initiatives about training content, specific audience-led needs and obstacles, b.) workshops to third interested parties (stakeholders of other football clubs) as well as c.) development of further ideas/projects and implementation on-site accompagied by football activities (common practices; tournament). Participants will be young refugees from ages 14-30, that have lived in the two capitals for different amounts of time and thus also have different German langzage skills. Language mediators will enable everyone who wants to be involved regardless of their ability of language. Per initiative, 16 team members take part in the project. In regards to visa status this number might slightly vary. On the other hand participants locally will be stakeholders (coaches, players, referees etc.) of local clubs that are interested in decreasing the barriers within their favourite sport which is football. The aims of the a.) exchange and b.) workshops are: - Participants will gain expertise on livelyhoods in other countries as well as about football structures. - Particpants will develop knowledge around the development of sporting clubs and programs, the structures of associations and the tasks within the sporting complexes.- Participants will be enabled to take on tasks and responsibilities within their clubs (the participating leading initatives as well as third local clubs), focussing on coaching. This will include to develop competence in: adequate pedagogical skills, increased communication skills, content from the sport sciences, time management, first aid, group coaching, etc. - On a personal level, experiences can be exchanged amongst peers leading to an intimate and honnest learning effect about adequate training methods At the end of the project, the participants will receive a certificate showing the exact contents of the formation. In order for the project to have effects in the long term, the workshops including 4 modules developed by the two initiatives, will be offered to be delivered to interested third parties on a regular basis. This will be an important step towards opening up the footballing structures - in regards to the needs of the target groups. The modules will all be shaped around the particularity of the participants as well as the target group which is people who just arrived in refuge. They will be guided by the questions what spots refugees are usually given - and how we can provide alternatives to that. Module 1: Basics: Which (new) tasks are there in a sports club? How are the sports club and the football leagues structured? What's the field I would like to be trained in? Module 2: How is an (inclusive) training practice being done? Basic knowledge around training practice + Experience training tasks in practical ways +
